We bought this blanket as a “base” for our adventures after one of our dogs needed to have her leg amputated (thanks cancer).
It’s been awesome!! It repels dirt and water, is light and easy to throw into a backpack, and makes for an excellent place to hang out and take in the views!
(It’s also super easy to clean after the adventures are done.)

I have the Mini mat in another color and bought this one for my hardcore camping/backpacking friend. She loves hers and tells me all the time!!! While it is a bit heavier and smaller than the traditional "tarp" that backpackers will carry, it is a great upgrade and worth it! I take mine on every trip - camping, backpacking, and multi-day river rafting trips, even on day hikes for a place to sit. I take it out first and use it to place all my gear on it to keep it out of the dirt and sand as I set up my tent. Then I use it outside my tent opening as a vestibule for things like shoes and keeping sand and dirt out of my tent. I have used it for stretching, standing on it when I change, doing impromptu yoga in the woods, and even placing it under my sleeping pad in my tent when the ground was particularly rough even with a footprint. I love this and take it on every outdoor adventure. Dirt/dust/sand shakes right off, and when I get home, I wipe it clean. This is one of my favorite pieces of gear because of its overall utility, and it basically always travels with me!

The everywhere mat is amazing! We used it at the beach to make a little pool in the sand for my 18 month old since he wasn’t too fond of going in the water. He played in it and had so much fun! My husband was also so impressed with it as it was very easy to rinse off with a hose and dried fairly quickly outside! For context, he’s not impressed with all of my purchases and wanted us to order two more…so I happily clicked away and can’t wait for them to arrive for our next adventure! I also have several of the original puffy blankets, which are amazing for cuddling up outside on the deck when it’s on the chillier side. So far I love everything I’ve bought from rumpl and looking forward to trying out some of the other items soon!

This is my new go to blanket, it packs down perfect to take along everywhere and keeps us dry, even on early morning trips to the park when the dew is still on the grass. My 2 year old is always stomping all over it, messy shoes and all, it always comes clean, and still looks great!

The waterproof, 5K laminated bottom keeps soggy grass at bay.
