This blanket is one of the best things I have added to my travel gear. I've been living on the road for the last 2 years and this blanket has not left my side. Its been to over 20 different countries, more flights than I can count, kept me comfortable car camping across the US, and more that I am surely forgetting. When the bedding wherever I'm staying is questionable or when the layover goes from 2 hours to 24 hours, this bad boy is always right there. It has kept me the perfect temperature in a hammock, on a platform, on a beach, and everywhere in between. I recommend it to everyone because it is so easy to pack and takes up almost none of a weight allowance when flying. The price was a hold up for me when I was first considering, but I have not regretted it once and it is still going strong. Would highly recommend from the couch to the Antarctic. This is by far my favorite blanket!

You are paying a premium for this product, the warmth you get is similar to the original puffy, but the packed volume is the smaller you will find in the industry. If you want the best of the best, go for it, but the other down options are a better bang for your buck. If you can wait for this blanket to be on sale then wait, you can safe 100$ this way.

tFor the hefty $400 price I was underwhelmed. I excepted a little more warmth. I typically sleep well in the cold, but I had one night during an 8 day backpacking trip the temperature dropped into the 30sF. However The smaller & lighter weight made it worthwhile the rest of the trip. It would have been good to see a temperature rating for this blanket, just like when buying a sleeping bag.

800 fill-power sustainably-sourced goose down feathers are extremely light, packable, and warm. The down has a hydrophobic treatment allowing it to stay dry longer and perform in damp conditions.
We use a 90/10 DWR, also known as a durable water repellent, on all of our blankets. This finish provides protection from the elements, making our blankets weather and stain resistant.
The Cape Clip, featured on all 1-Person blankets, allows you to wear your blanket hands-free so you can start a fire, drink your beer, or change the channel, all while staying warm.
Corner loops allow you to stake the blanket into the ground or integrate perfectly with our Stash Mat to allow for the ultimate chill session.
All Rumpl Puffy blankets are treated with 90/10 DWR and highly water resistant, but are not waterproof. Our down is also hydrophobic, meaning it still performs and keeps you warm in damp conditions.
We have a one year warranty for any manufacturing defect on materials or craftsmanship from the time it was purchased. Send us a note at cs@rumpl.ca with proof of purchase and we'll take care of you!
Our down is 100% fair trade certified and obtained as a harm-free by-product of the food industry, meaning that nothing is live-plucked. Both our down supplier and our factory are audited yearly by the IDFL (International Down and Feather Testing Laboratory) and have received the GRS certification.
While our Puffy blankets aren’t temperature rated, they should keep you plenty warm in 45º and above. Need something warmer? Cuddle up with a 2-Person or layer two blankets.
All Rumpls are machine washable. We recommend using a front loading washing machine on warm, and adding in Granger’s Performance Wash for the best cleaning and re-energizing of the DWR and water resistance. Hang dry or toss in the dryer on tumble low / no heat.
