Q: The Cape Clip® is near and dear to many of us Rumpl fans. We can embrace our inner child and wear our blankets like super heroes. The Cape Clip® also allows us to wear our blankets hands-free, so we can light a campfire or drink our coffee all while staying warm. Why fix something that wasn't broken?
Q: Okay, I'm hooked. What can the new Cape Clip® do that the old Cape Clip® couldn't?
A: Alina: "So that everyone can enjoy hands-free use, the new dual Cape Clip® connection points have been redesigned to snap in for easier hands-free wear. The Original Puffy Blanket is used by many in finger-numbing temperatures, and we wanted to make this feature accessible even as the temperatures drop.
You may have noticed, I said "dual" Cape Clip® connection points. The previous version of the Original Puffy Blanket had a single Cape Clip® connection. The all-new Original Puffy Blanket has dual Cape Clip® connections found on the two longer sides of the blanket, so you don't need to search for the hardware. Now you can fold your blanket in half for a makeshift sleeping bag (AKA burrito-mode), layer two blankets together, or chain-link other Rumpl blankets with the same system.
The new low-profile hardware has a few additional, yet subtle, perks as well. Now when you toss your Original Puffy Blanket in the dryer after a good wash, you won't hear clanking hardware. When you aren't using the Cape Clip®, the hardware is less intrusive. And the coolest perk, when the blanket snags, the Cape Clip® will release on its own. No ripped seams here."
Q: Where did the inspiration for the new Cape Clip® come from?
Q: Lastly, I need to know. Is there a world record yet for the number of Original Puffy Blankets linked together?
A: Alina: "Not yet, but I want a picture from whoever sets it."
That wraps up your insider look at the new Cape Clip® design. Now go and gather your friends with Rumpls, and let's see who can build the longest blanket daisy chain.
