This Earth Day, we’re proud to continue our efforts to keep the outdoor places we play clean and green for many generations to come. From product to packaging to practices, we push ourselves toward greater sustainability in everything we do. We’ve come far, and don’t plan on stopping.

So as we gear up to celebrate our biggest Earth Day to date, let’s recap our own progress so far. On our road to sustainability, we’ve built an ecosystem of initiatives to address our impact and help you reduce yours.

OUR IMPACT

…On the atmosphere

We offset 8.2 million pounds of carbon.
That’s like taking 900 cars off the road for a year.
As a Climate Neutral Certified brand, we measured our carbon footprint from 2020 and offset it completely. Offsetting isn’t a substitute for reducing emissions, but it’s an important step we’re taking to protect the outdoor spaces we all love.

Thanks to our carbon-neutral certification last year. This means that we measured our carbon footprint from 2020 and offset it completely. Offsetting isn’t a substitute for reducing emissions, but it’s an important step we’re taking to protect the outdoor spaces we all love.

…On the environment

11+ Million Plastic Water Bottles Upcycled
That enough to fill 110 school buses.
From bottle to blanket. We use discarded plastic bottles and recycle them into the synthetic insulation and polyester that make up our best-selling products; preventing them from ending up in landfills where they would otherwise leech into the ecosystem.

Rumpl has been a member of 1% For the Planet since 2017 and we are Climate Neutral Certified, meaning we offset the carbon emissions of our entire company. In 2021, we officially became a Certified B Corporation. The B Corp Certification means that Rumpl is committed to a high standard and that we care about the effects of our business on society, on the environment, and on the world.

Environmental Justice For All
Sustainability isn’t just about using the right materials or racking up eco-accolades. It’s about making a safer, healthier environment for everyone. In addition to our year-round environmental commitments, we periodically support local and grassroots causes that we believe in, such as: First Peoples Fund, Sheltersuit Foundation, Save The Waves, WeGotNext, and more.
