I have the Mini mat in another color and bought this one for my hardcore camping/backpacking friend. She loves hers and tells me all the time!!! While it is a bit heavier and smaller than the traditional "tarp" that backpackers will carry, it is a great upgrade and worth it! I take mine on every trip - camping, backpacking, and multi-day river rafting trips, even on day hikes for a place to sit. I take it out first and use it to place all my gear on it to keep it out of the dirt and sand as I set up my tent. Then I use it outside my tent opening as a vestibule for things like shoes and keeping sand and dirt out of my tent. I have used it for stretching, standing on it when I change, doing impromptu yoga in the woods, and even placing it under my sleeping pad in my tent when the ground was particularly rough even with a footprint. I love this and take it on every outdoor adventure. Dirt/dust/sand shakes right off, and when I get home, I wipe it clean. This is one of my favorite pieces of gear because of its overall utility, and it basically always travels with me!

This mat is "just right" for a standing on for quick change in clothes before climbing back in the car after a muddy bike ride or a sweaty ski run on cross-country before heading home. It is not the "picnic blanket" size of the big everywhere mat and easily fits rolled up or folded behind the car seat until you need it. Durable and waterproof bottom make it ideal for all-weather use. you can use it to put on tire chains or change a tire if you need to as well!!!

This is a cute, handy little rug I keep in my car. Great as a little mat to stand on when getting changed. My only complain is it’s not that simple to fold into its own carry case.

We got a pair of these for our greyhounds. These are the perfect size for laying down on the grass during long days outdoors— they can sprawl out comfortably in their own space. Folded in half it is a great way to let them know where their own space is at a patio restaurant or corner of a beer garden. Packs down so small that you hardly realize its in the day pack with water, poo bags and treats! And the colors really make black greyhounds pop so they are at their gorgeous best!

I wanted a floor mat for my Springbar canvas tent to make it even more luxurious. The everywhere mat mini is just right to put between two cots. When I’m packing up I can just shake out the mat which makes it easier to stow the tent clean.
